1:1 Orton-Gillingham tutoring provides a personalized, prescriptive approach that is systematic, cumulative, and multi-sensory. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of your child—whether they have mild to severe learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or AD/HD. Sessions build foundational literacy and academic skills by teaching in a structured, engaging way that supports how your child learns best.

Grades PreK-8

These sessions are ideal for students needing personalized support in reading comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, writing, and/or spelling. Unlike the Orton-Gillingham lesson plan, Structured Literacy sessions are systematic and explicit, but offer greater flexibility in structure and content.. They are ideal for students who may not require the full OG sequence. These sessions are beneficial for learners with or without diagnosed learning differences.

Grades Pre-K - 8

Small group sessions provide targeted, research-based instruction in reading, writing, and spelling using the Structured Literacy approach. Groups are kept small to allow for individualized support while fostering peer interaction. Depending on student needs, lessons may follow the more structured Orton-Gillingham format—focusing on decoding and encoding—or take a more flexible approach to address skills like reading comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, and writing. These sessions are ideal for students with or without diagnosed learning differences who benefit from explicit, engaging literacy instruction.
